There are also interesting out-of-the-way spots that, while not having as much to see and do as Penang, Malacca, or Kuala Lumpur, have at least something of note worth seeing if you’re in the area. One such place is the AbuBakar Museum in the southern city of Johor Bahru. Unless you’re heading south overland through Malaysia to Singapore, you’re liable to miss JB, but the museum makes the crossing from Singapore worth a stop once you’re there.
